Two hundred twenty-eight (228) seafarers attended the virtual Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar on 30 September 2024 conducted by the Migrant Workers Office in Washington, DC in celebration of the 2024 National Seafarers Day. The seafarers were oriented on their rights and duties under the newly enacted Magna Carta of Seafarers, and on issues confronting Filipino seafarers in the US.
