Embassy officials welcomed the contingent from the PH Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) led by Undersecretary Reynaldo Mapagu (gentleman in gray suit) who are in the US to attend official activities of the Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) of Filipino Veterans of WWII. The PVAO and the Embassy also explored cooperation in advancing services for Filipino World War II veterans in the United States, and the promotion of veterans and post-retiree welfare and health benefits.
