WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Embassy successfully completed the audit conducted from 20 to 31 July 2026 by Commission on Audit (COA), reaffirming the Embassy’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and sound public financial management.

The comprehensive audit covered the Embassy’s cash and property accountabilities, overall organizational performance, and the implementation and evaluation of its programs and activities. The audit assessed the Embassy’s compliance with applicable government rules and regulations, the effectiveness of its internal controls, and the efficient use of public resources in carrying out its mandate.

The successful completion of the audit reflects the Embassy’s continued adherence to the principles of good governance and responsible stewardship of government funds and assets. It also underscores the dedication and professionalism of the Embassy’s officers and personnel in maintaining high standards of financial management and public service.

The Embassy remains committed to continuously strengthening its systems and processes, implementing recommendations for further improvement, and delivering responsive, efficient, and accountable services to the Filipino community and stakeholders it serves.###
