ACCESSIBLE MEDICAL SERVICES AND FILIPINO VETERANS WELFARE HIGHLIGHTED BY EMBASSY AND PHILIPPINE VETERANS AFFAIRS OFFICE

The PVAO delegation led by Undersecretary Reynaldo Mapugu (ret.) (bottom row, leftmost) met with Philippine Embassy officials and the Office of the Defense Attache in Washington, D.C. Usec. Mapugu gave updates on their key programs such as the Kagitingan Roadmap, which provides enhanced and accessible medical services and pension benefits to all retirees in the Philippines. There is also a study on bilateral cooperation between the Philippines and the United States that would benefit American veterans residing in the Philippines and Filipino veterans, bringing socio-economic development through modern medical infrastructure and more effective and affordable medical services.
