The Philippine Embassy informs the public of the following additional requirements for Chinese nationals in the United States applying for 9(A) Temporary Visitors Visa:
- Chinese Social Insurance Record Certificates
- Must be registered for at least six (6) months at the time of visa application
- Retirees above 55 years old are exempt
- Chinese nationals enrolled in primary, secondary, or college education will be required to present proof of enrollment
2. Residence permit or proof of legal residence in the United States
These new requirements take effect immediately.
