The Embassy reminds all members of the public that any act of vandalism, destruction, or damage to Embassy property, as well as the harassment, intimidation, or assault of Embassy personnel in the performance of their official duties, is unlawful and will not be tolerated.
The premises of the Embassy are protected under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961) which recognizes the inviolability of diplomatic mission premises.
The Embassy will continue to cooperate closely with the appropriate law enforcement authorities to ensure the safety and security of its personnel, visitors, and premises, and to pursue all appropriate legal remedies in response to unlawful acts.
