The Philippine Embassy in Washington, as current Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Washington DC (ACW), convened a working lunch with Deputy Secretary of State Dr. Kurt Campbell and other officials from the Department of State (DoS) and National Security Council (NSC). 

Dr. Campbell shared updates on US engagements in Asia, and exchanged views on recent developments concerning regional security during the luncheon.

The ACW was also apprised of the US’s priorities for upcoming high-level engagements, including at the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York September and 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in Vientiane, Lao PDR in October.###
