The Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C. is inviting qualified candidates for Assistant (Public Diplomacy Section).
DURATION: 6 months
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and create content for the Embassy’s website, social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X), and other digital platforms for internal and external stakeholders
- Act as the official photographer of the Embassy, to take official photos for Embassy personnel and partners at Embassy events
- Correspond and maintain contacts with members of the media and other related external stakeholders of the Embassy
- Assist in the organization of Embassy public diplomacy events and activities
- Perform other tasks that may be required in the Public Diplomacy Section
REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a valid residence permit / green card / employment authorization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literate and able to handle IT equipment and peripherals
- Basic photography, website management, and social media proficiency
- Experience in media relations a plus
WORK HOURS
- 8:30 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday, except during holidays observed by the Embassy.
