WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Philippine Embassy conducted on 05 November 2026 a Masterclass on Executive Presence and Strategic Communication for its personnel, aimed at strengthening their leadership capabilities, professional communication skills, and effectiveness in carrying out the Embassy’s diplomatic and consular functions.

In his opening remarks, Charge d’Affaires Felipe F. Cariño III highlighted that “effective communication is not simply about conveying information. It is about building trust, fostering relationships, managing expectations, and communicating with professionalism, clarity, and purpose. This is also particularly important in consular work, where our ability to listen, show empathy, exercise sound judgment, and communicate with tact can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve.”

The Masterclass was led by Ms. Monica Prado, founder and Chief Learning Officer of Communicare Training and Development (CTD), a Philippines-based company that equips leaders, senior professionals, and multinational organizations with the high-stakes communication strategies required to drive commercial and career success.

Through this initiative, the Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to the continuing professional development of its personnel and to fostering a culture of excellence, professionalism, and effective public service in the pursuit of Philippine foreign policy objectives.
