Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Jaime Ramon T. Ascalon, Jr. (right) met with Ms. Beatriz M. Robles (left), award-winning Filipino author and daughter of National Artist for Visual Arts nominee Mr. Rene Robles, on 28 June 2022.
Ms. Robles donated a copy of her book entitled "Artwords", which was awarded as a Finalist under the Specialty or Novelty category at the 2022 Next Generation Indie Book Awards Gala. The Awards Gala was held on 24 June 2022 in Washington D.C.
