The Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. reminds the public to verify the status of higher education programs, particularly virtual/online degree programs, offered by any degree-granting institutions, both Philippine and foreign, before enrollment. Verification will ensure the recognition by the Philippine Commission on Higher Education (CHED) of all qualifications awarded by such institutions.
Filipinos residing in the United States who may be enrolled in or considering pursuing virtual/online degree programs offered by higher education institutions in the Philippines are advised to contact the CHED International Affairs Service at:
