1. Non-Immigrant Visa Application Form: Signed and notarized
2. Passport: Original and one photocopy of the data page, valid for at least six months upon entry.
3. Flight Ticket: Roundtrip or onward ticket out of the Philippines with a departure date within 59 days (for visa-free nationals) or 30 days (for non-visa-free nationals) of arrival.  
4. Photo: One recent 2” x 2” color photo (taken within the last six months)
5. Proof of Financial Capacity: Recent bank statement, employment certificate, or income tax return.
6. Return Envelope: Self-addressed, stamped envelope with a tracking number (use USPS Priority Mail; do not use metered stamps, P.O. Box, or FedEx).
7. Visa Fee: USD 30 for visa-free nationals, USD 40 for non-visa-free nationals. Payable by money order to “Embassy of the Philippines.” No cash or personal checks.

Foreign journalists must have a visa and approved media accreditation to visit. Once all application documents are submitted, the Embassy will endorse them to the International Press Center via the Department of Foreign Affairs. To obtain IPC media accreditation and visa clearance, the following documents are required:

1. Non-Immigrant Visa Application Form: Signed and notarized

3. Photo: One recent 2” x 2” color photo (taken within the last six months)

Holders of diplomatic and official US passports and/or UN Laissez Passer accredited in the United States who will be traveling to the Philippines on official business will need to apply for a visa.

9(E) visas are divided into three types:

• 9(E-1)– for persons enjoying diplomatic immunities and privileges, including their immediate family members
• 9(E-2)– for other FGOs who will go to the Philippines in connection with official business for his government; official students or participants in programs under the auspices of the Philippine Government or recognized international organizations, including their immediate family members
• 9(E-3) – for members of the household to whom 9(e-1) and 9(e-2) visas have been granted

Requirements:

1. Passport: Valid for at least six months upon entry, plus one photocopy of the data page.
2. Non-Immigrant Visa Application Form: Completed, typed or printed in black or blue ink, and notarized. 
3. Photo: One recent 2” x 2” color photo (taken within the last six months) with a clear front view and white background. No sleeveless attire. Blurred or low-quality photos are not accepted.
4. Official Letter: A letter from the relevant government agency or international organization detailing your assignment in Manila, your designation, and the length and purpose of your official travel.
5. Return Envelope: Self-addressed, prepaid envelope with tracking, preferably USPS Priority Mail. Do not use metered stamps, P.O. Box return addresses, or FedEx.
6. Visa Fee: No charge (gratis).
7. Itinerary Declaration Form: Required for short-term official visits (form available for download).

Foreign nationals can apply for a 47(a)(2) visa if they fall into one of the following categories:

1. Employment in Special Zones: Executives, supervisors, specialists, consultants, contractors, or personal staff at enterprises registered with PEZA, BOI, AFAB, or in Export/Special Economic Processing Zones.
2. Government Projects: Employees in enterprises with agreements with the government or its agencies for project completion.
3. Educational/Charitable Programs: Exchange professors, scholars, trainees, students, and others sponsored by recognized educational, scientific, cultural, or charitable organizations, including representatives of non-recognized foreign governments.
4. Volunteers: Registered with the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) or foreign personnel of international aid organizations assisting in natural disasters or emergencies.
5. Dependents: Family members of foreign nationals in any of the above categories.
6. Special Approval: Individuals approved by the President or the relevant Department, in accordance with CA No. 613, as amended.

Requirements for 47(A)(2) visa:

1. Passport: Valid for at least six months upon entry, plus one (1) photocopy of the data page.
2. Non-Immigrant Visa Application Form: One completed, typed or printed in black or blue ink, and notarized.
3. Photos: Two recent 2” x 2” color photos (taken within the last six months) with a clear front view and white background. No sleeveless attire. Blurred or low-quality photos are not accepted.
4. Letters from Institutes: A letter from both the sending and receiving institutes confirming the applicant’s participation in the program.
5. Police Clearance: Original and one (1) photocopy of a Certificate of No Police Record from the applicant’s place of residence.
6. Return Envelope: Self-addressed, stamped envelope with a tracking number (use USPS Priority Mail; do not use metered stamps, P.O. Box, or FedEx).
