WASHINGTON, D.C. – On 17 April 2026, the Philippine Embassy successfully concluded its third free legal aid clinic on Philippine law, providing essential advice to Filipinos and Filipino Americans dealing with various legal issues in the Philippines.

Atty. Dion Romano, a member of the Philippine Bar, counseled 8 individuals on matters such as property, contracts, and family law. Clients shared their appreciation for having a secure and supportive space where they could discuss legal matters and receive expert guidance on navigating the Philippine legal system.

Consul General Zoilo Velasco thanked Atty. Romano for generously sharing his time and expertise.  He noted that the legal clinic supports the Embassy’s ongoing commitment to the welfare of Filipinos in the United States.
