WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO) commenced its Magiting Networking Mixer Roadshow with a launch event held on 13 March 2024 at the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C., USA. Chargé d’affaires, a.i. Jaime Ramon Ascalon, Jr. underscored the importance of fostering ties and building bridges between the U.S. and the Philippines through the Filipino young leaders.
FYLPRO, a flagship program of the Philippine Foreign Service Posts in the U.S. in partnership with the Ayala Foundation, aims to encourage the young Filipino diaspora to be more involved in strengthening the PHL-U.S. alliance.
The FYLPRO’s Magiting Networking Mixer Roadshow is poised to engage with like-minded organizations to forge mutually beneficial partnerships and collaborations. Beyond facilitating networking opportunities, the roadshow aims to build a strong pipeline of candidates for immersion programs and board leadership positions while also educating audiences about FYLPRO’s impactful programs and initiatives. Through these concerted efforts, FYLPRO endeavors to empower young Filipino leaders in the diaspora, fostering collaborative relationships that drive innovation and support the socio-economic progress of the global Filipino community.
