WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C. rendered consular and overseas voter’s election registration services to hundreds of Filipinos in the Cayman Islands on June 27 to 28, 2026.
The consular outreach is the Embassy’s first to the Caribbean this year, reaffirming its commitment to serve Filipinos under its jurisdiction.
Led by Consul General Zoilo A. Velasco, the Embassy’s team rendered various consular services, including the processing of 409 passport applications, the registration of 294 overseas voters, and the reacquisition of Philippine citizenship of 12 individuals.
The two-day outreach was organized with the assistance of Honorary Consul Arturo Ursua and his team of volunteers.
