PH EMBASSY WELCOMES CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION ON CIVIL NUCLEAR ENERGY STUDY TOUR UNDER U.S. FIRST PROGRAM
Philippine Ambassador to the U.S. Jose Manuel Romualdez (6th from left) hosted a cocktail reception for a Philippine delegation from the House of Representatives undertaking a study visit as part of the U.S. Department of State's Foundational Infrastructure for Responsible Use of Small Modular Reactor Technology (FIRST) program. The delegation was led by Rep. Marcos "Mark" O. Cojuangco, Chairperson of the House Special Committee on Nuclear Energy (5th from left), and included Rep. Joseph Kim C. Yu, Committee Vice Chair Rep. Leody F. Tarriela, Masbate City Mayor Olga "Ara" T. Kho, Rep. Elisa "Olga" T. Kho, and Rep. Munir N. Arbison, Jr. (1st-4th and 9th from left). They were accompanied at the Philippine Embassy by State Department officials working on the FIRST program.
