WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. conducted its consular outreach mission in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina from 19 to 20 September 2026.
The Embassy’s five-person team, led by Consul General Zoilo A. Velasco, processed 299 passport applications, registered 1 Report of Marriage and 3 Reports of Birth, notarized 11 documents, and administered the oath of allegiance to 78 successful dual citizenship applicants during the two-day mission.
The Embassy also facilitated the registration of 96 overseas voters ahead of the 2028 National Elections.
This consular outreach mission marked the Embassy’s return to the Raleigh area since its last outreach in Raleigh in 2018.
The consular outreach mission was conducted in partnership with the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) – Triad of North Carolina and the Philippine Nurses Association of North Carolina, whose support was instrumental to the mission’s success.
