The Philippine Embassy has reaffirmed its commitment to serving overseas Filipinos with the successful conduct of a consular outreach mission in Birmingham, Alabama, held from May 31 to June 1, 2025, where over 200 Filipinos accessed government services.

During the two-day outreach, 160 Filipinos were assisted with their passport applications, 95 reacquired their Philippine citizenship, and 16 received notarized documents. They were also provided with important information on various services available to overseas Filipinos.

“Assistance to our kababayan comes in many forms,” said Ambassador Romualdez. “We at the Philippine Embassy remain committed to ensuring that our more than 4 million Filipinos and Filipino-Americans are supported in practical and meaningful ways.”

The Embassy extends its sincere appreciation to the Filipino community volunteers, led by Ms. Marilyn Dacanay Stitt, who assisted during the consular outreach mission.
