WASHINGTON D.C. – Ambassador Jose Manuel G. Romualdez, accompanied by Consul General Iric Cruz Arribas and Defense Attache Commodore Salvador Henry Quinto, welcomed various leaders of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) DMV region on 24 July 2023. The INC delegation was led by District Supervising Minister for DMV, Sidney Santos, Assistant District Supervising Minister Carlitos Medina and Resident Minister for Washington, D.C., Archie Talens. The rendezvous served as an opportunity to explore current and potential points of collaboration.
During the engaging discussion, various avenues for joint endeavors were explored, highlighting the potential for productive partnership in areas such as consular assistance, cultural exchange, and community development.
As the meeting coincided with the approaching anniversary of Iglesia ni Cristo, the Ambassador extended warm greetings and best wishes to the organization on their 109th Founding Anniversary on July 27, 2023. The INC officials expressed gratitude for the Ambassador’s graciousness and reiterated their commitment to positively impacting society through their spiritual and humanitarian endeavors. The delegation also extended an open invite for the Ambassador, Embassy officials, and the public to “Welcome My Brethren”, a community celebration on Saturday, 29 July 2023 from 10AM-2PM at the Iglesia ni Cristo Chapel on 4115 16th Street NW, Washington D.C., 20011. ###
