WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. held its twelfth and final consular outreach mission for 2025 on 15 November 2025 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The Embassy team, led by Consul General Donna M. Rodriguez, processed a total of 99 passports, 5 notarials and 45 dual citizenship applications during the one-day outreach mission.
Ambassador Jose Manuel Romualdez has always underscored that the conduct of consular outreach missions to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, not only in the United States but in most of the Caribbean, remains a core activity of the Embassy. This is in line with the third pillar of Philippine foreign policy, the promotion and protection of the welfare of overseas Filipinos.
Pursuing its commitment to serving the Filipino diaspora, the Embassy conducted consular outreach missions to US states under its jurisdiction: Florida (Miami, Tampa and Orlando), Alabama (Birmingham), Kentucky (Louisville), Tennessee (Memphis), and North Carolina (Charlotte). The Embassy also provided consular services to an unprecedented 12 countries and territories in the Caribbean, visiting the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, US Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
More than 3,300 consular documents were processed during the 12 outreach missions, including passports, dual citizenship, notarials, reports of birth, marriage and death, and other certifications.
