WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Philippine Embassy’s Resident Election Registration Board convened its first meeting on 20 April 2026 to approve 803 applications for registration, certification, reactivation, and other types of applications filed with the Embassy from 01 December 2025 to 31 March 2026.

The overseas voter registration period, which started on 01 December 2025 and ends on 30 September 2027, allows Filipinos abroad to secure their eligibility to vote for President, Vice President, Senators, and Party-List Representative in 2028.
Overseas voter registration requires personal appearance at the Philippine Embassy or at consular outreach missions for submission of required documents and biometric data collection.
