17 NOVEMBER 2021, WASHINGTON D.C. – Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel G. Romualdez virtually presented his credentials today as non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Philippines to the Governor General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Dame Susan Dougan.

During their bilateral meeting, Ambassador Romualdez urged the Governor General to consider cooperation on climate change adaptation and other climate-related initiatives given that both the Philippines and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.

Ambassador Romualdez also expressed the Philippines’ desire to further expand its bilateral relations with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, especially in trade and investment and tourism.

The Philippines formally established diplomatic relations with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (VC) on 11 October 2011. ###
