WASHINGTON, D.C. – On 11 July 2025, the Philippine Embassy concluded a successful free legal aid clinic on Philippine law, offering vital assistance to Filipinos facing a range of legal challenges in the Philippines.
Atty. Dion Romano, a member of the Philippine bar, assisted 10 individuals, providing them expert legal advice on matters such as property, contracts, and family law. The clients expressed their appreciation for the safe space where they could discuss legal matters and receive professional guidance on how to navigate the Philippine legal system.
“This clinic reflects our ongoing commitment to the welfare of our kababayan here in the United States,” said Consul General Donna Rodriguez. “We thank Atty. Romano, who generously offered his time and expertise to make this initiative possible.”
The Embassy will host its next free legal aid clinic, focusing on US immigration law, from August 4 to 8, 2025,
